I am a 26-year-old from the Czech Republic that decided to turn Harvard when I was 22 to travel the world. I never looked back.
When I was 17, I started getting really frustrated on the tennis court. My conditioning coach’s father noticed and recommended someone who could help—a former SWAT member who was described as “part mentor, part coach, part doctor.” That sounded interesting to me, so I decided to give him a call and visit him.
The moment I stepped into his office, everything changed. It felt like home, like, “this is it.” He introduced me to concepts I had never heard of before: meditation, mindfulness, flow state, “the zone,” philosophy, breathing exercises, and tools for mastering the mind. I was hooked. For the first time in my life, I began meditating, reflecting, and believing there was so much more to life.
One of the most memorable parts of working with him were our sessions, sometimes even 6+ hours in nature. We would read, talk about life and philosophy, meditate, exercise, eat mindfully, practice self-defense, and so much more. These experiences became the cornerstone of my journey toward mindfulness, self-awareness, and personal growth.
I’ve never stopped. Quite the opposite—I’ve doubled down on this journey. After college, I had the chance to extend my visa in the US to pursue a PhD at a prestigious university or take a well-paying science job. But I chose a different path. I packed my backpack, traveled the world, and spent my time reading, meeting people, and reflecting deeply on life. It was the best decision I ever made.
Over the years, I transformed. I went from someone who struggled to get things done, procrastinated, and felt negative and lost—to someone who knows what he wants, manages stress and emotions, consistently enters the flow state, and gets things done.
Of course, there are ups and downs—it’s life! But I haven’t had a major setback in years, and I believe it’s because of the systems and habits I’ve built.
I’ve done it. You can too. Let me help you take the first step.
